Liberation Station

Liberation Station is the mutual aid component of our work, and a paragraph out of our love letter to Black Kansas City. Located at Freedom House, Liberation Station is a free store where community can access food, clothing, household and hygiene items, and other basic necessities. Mutual aid is abolition— because when we have what we need, we are further from harm. Birthed from our belief that we keep us safe, we keep us free; Liberation Station was designed from a place of genuine love and support of Black community, and creates access that affirms the dignity and respect our community deserves. Black Kansas City, we do this til’ we free us!
