At OL, we’re shifting the culture to shift policies and practices – not just politically, but where it matters most – in our homes, families, communities and behind the wall! After being trained + certified and returning to train others at the historic Highlander Center’s Cultural Organizing program and somatic practice + Embodied Organizing through Mass Liberation Network, OL’s leaders are changing the shape of organizing in KC + beyond.

Through art, culture, popular education, somatic healing + embodied practice, OL is creating sustainable frameworks, rooted in care and laying a replicable foundation for viable alternatives to existing responses of punishment + harm.
